This page explains what information MyTakeHomePaycheck.com collects and how it's used. In short: we collect as little as possible.
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The salary, state, and filing-status numbers you enter are never sent to our servers, stored, or shared — the page's only network request is downloading the public tax data file it computes from. When you close the page, your inputs are gone.
We set no cookies and run no analytics of our own. There is currently no way for us to identify you or track your use of the site.
This site may show ads in the future through third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense). Ads are not live yet. If ads are activated, those vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.
You can block cookies in your browser settings at any time. The calculator will still work — it doesn't need cookies to function.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
